Dr. Nevitt is fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco. He has a special interest in Uterine Artery Embolization for the treatment of uterine fibroids, ultrasound guided procedures and the diagnosis and treatment of Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD). Dr. Nevitt coordinated the first "Legs for Life" free PVD screening clinic in the San Francisco Bay Area. While completing his diagnostic radiology residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA, he served as a chief resident, as representative of the Association of University Radiologists and published several articles on the placement and effectiveness of esophageal and enteric stents.
